Global’s Make Some Noise is a national charity that funds and empowers projects, helping disadvantaged children, young people and their families.

We have both worked with disadvantaged school children living at the sharp end for most of our careers. Over the years we have seen the difference that chairties can positively make to the quality of some of our most vulnerable children's lives, helping them to work towards independent adulthood. Now we are semi-retired we enjoy walking and would like to raise some funds to support young lives across the UK.

We will be walking the Weardale cicular walk from Chartwell late September / early October and hope that family & friends will be able to support this charity and enable more valuable work to happen.

Life is tough for a child or young person living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity. It can be very isolating for them and their family. Make Some Noise funds vital equipment and life-changing services to help children and young people through challenging times, including therapy, counselling, nursing and support groups.
