My Story

My mother's life was one dedicated to others.

She was a major figure in raising her brothers and sisters, and when she had a family was a "stay at home mother" until her husband died and she had to go back to work, whilst raising two fairly young children.

She would always be there to help, and to take us where we needed to be, or support us in our interests, without thinking of herself.

Then once she had grandchildren, even though she was still working, she would take holiday so she could spend time with the grandchildren.

She would always be on had for neighbours if they needed babysitters, or needed someone to housesit.

Even when she was in intense pain, she would still be there for anyone who needed help.

I don't think I have heard anyone speak of her except in the highest regard.

A wonderful lady, who will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
