My Story

Turning 50 this year leads to the challenge of ticking a few things off my bucket list. I ran the  London Marathon in 2014 then badly injured my knee 6 months later. Following surgery I started on the road to recovery with the support and encouragement of Claire. With her advice, teaching and understanding I am now fitter than I ever was in my 20's / 30's and have always wanted to run the marathon again as a challenge. I am so pleased to be sharing this journey with Claire, a close friend and so much more than a personal trainer.

I am running the Virgin London Marathon 2020 to raise money for Global's Make Some Noise to raise money and awareness of the small charities who support children and younger people affected by illness, disability, bereavement or lack of opportunity.
